Meet Our Faculty
Dennis Song, DDS, MD | Program Director & Supervisor Operator

Born and raised in San Francisco, Dr. Dennis Song decided to practice in the city he grew up in to serve the communities of San Francisco and the Bay Area. A graduate of Lowell High School, he completed his undergraduate work from the west coast’s first formal university, the University of San Francisco and went on to achieve his dental degree (DDS) from the University of California San Francisco.
For his specialty training to become an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, he completed his medical degree (MD) from the University of California Davis. He completed his internships and residency in General Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of California San Francisco.
He is licensed to practice both dentistry and medicine and has a permit for general anesthesia. He is Vice Chief of the Dental Division and Attending Surgeon at California Pacific Medical Center and Courtesy Staff Surgeon at St. Mary’s Hospital in San Francisco.
He serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California San Francisco teaching students and residents. Dr. Song maintains more than double the minimum requirements for continuing education annually to keep abreast of the latest information and techniques and also lectures several times a year. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and two children.

Jerome N. Peck, DLXT | Assistant Director/Instructor

Jerome N. Peck received his radiographic training at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry from 1972-1974. He was certified as a dental laboratory x-ray technologist (DLXT) in 1976 by UC Berkeley. Mr. Peck is currently the CEO of C-Dental X-Ray and McCormack Dental Imaging, that consists of 12 imaging centers, which are considered leaders in both two and three dimensional imaging. As a pioneer in the use of CBCT and 3D case planning software, Mr. Peck is often sought out to offer expert advice on the use of 3D imaging for implant case planning and guided surgery. He lectures nationally and internationally on airway analysis, radiation dosage and the application of CBCT and intraoral 3D scanning for implant case planning and guided surgery, from patient diagnosis to final prosthesis.

Audra K. Aki, DLXT | Instructor

Audra K. Aki is an x-ray technician at C-Dental X-Ray. She moved to San Francisco to attend San Francisco State University where she studied animation and graphic arts. She started working at Kinko's right after college and moved on to a certification in Swedish Massage Therapy. C-Dental X-Ray helped her pass her state board tests for x-ray and she's been with the company now for almost 10 years. Audra currently resides in San Francisco with her boyfriend and chocolate Labrador retriever, and enjoys movies and the beach whenever she can.
