AUDRA AKI
2020 - 2022 President
Audra is an x-ray technician at C-Dental X-Ray.  She moved to San Francisco to attend San Francisco State University where she studied animation and graphic arts. She started working at Kinko's right after college and moved on to a certification in Swedish Massage Therapy.  

​C-Dental X-Ray helped her pass her state board tests for x-ray and she's been with the company since 2004.  In her spare time she enjoys movies, reading, going to the beach or park with her canine companion and working on her graphic novels.
HELEN SORIANO

I grew up in San Francisco, CA and moved to Hayward, CA to attend CSU Eastbay in 2003.  I am currently working on getting my Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Business Management with a graduation date of Spring 2021. Since Jan 2000, I hold the Managing Technician position at C-Dental X-Ray Inc in San Mateo, CA . Previously in 2009-2010, I have served as Advertising on the AADMRT Board of Directors. During my free time, I knit, garden and make kombucha.

I was introduced to the AADMRT in 2013 when I started working for C-Dental X-Ray/McCormack Dental Imaging in San Diego, CA. Since then I've helped in the establishment and administration of the AADMRT Online Technician Program. I've also helped in the planning and execution of the AADMRT annual conferences since 2014 and I manage the AADMRT websites and e-newsletters. I am part of the C-Dental X-Ray/MDI executive team and received my BA from San Diego State University. In my spare time I enjoy eating tacos and going to the beach with my family.

Native Texan, living and working in the Houston Area. I was introduced to the AADMRT 30 years ago when I started working in the industry and value the information shared within this organization. I believe we all have experiences that can be shared to help others.
Matt Carpenter earned his license as a Dental Radiographic Technologist in 1998 through UC Berkeley.  He has worked at Brockton Dental X-Ray Lab since 1996. He has worked with many new dental software companies and has been at the forefront of dental imaging technology.  Matt has been a member of and has served on the board for the American Association of Maxillofacial Radiographic Technicians.
Michael Finke has a background in digital dental technology and has been involved with Kainos Dental Technologies since 2012. He has extensive experience in the dental lab industry and has become an expert in various CAD/CAM and imaging systems. Having worked alongside a clinician and dental innovator for a number of years prior to, and during his time at Kainos, Mike has also been privileged with a great amount of clinical exposure. With his unique blend of knowledge in both dental and industrial technology, he has also been a key consultant in the development of multiple implant manufacturers' digital platforms.

Julia Peck is an Arizona State University graduate with a BA from the W.P. Carey School of Business.  She completed the AADMRT Online Technician Program and received her CA DLXT license in October 2018. She currently is the Chief Operating Officer at C-Dental X-Ray and McCormack Dental Imaging. In her free time she enjoys running, hiking, and exploring with her two pups.
