PAST EDITOR'S MESSAGE | SPRING 2009Merry Hampton
![]() Hello to all members, friends and colleagues. I am introducing myself today Merry Hampton as AADMRT'S new editor-in-chief. At this point in time, I am not sure if this will be a temporary position or more permanent.. I have stepped in as editor in place of Joanna Peck-Rashid. Joanna has resigned do to an overwhelming schedule which includes a new baby, plus a two year old at home and helping her father run C-Dental X-ray. I would like to thank Joanna for her valiant efforts this past year.
During this transition I must ask you to be patient with me. I will be asking you as members to help me find feature article of interest, educational, or even personal articles. I really like the idea of being hands on with all of you. I also want to continue its time-honored tradition of serving the need of the general members with clinically relevant articles that are scientifically based. I would like to thank our President Dan Halpert. He has worked very hard with me as well, to get this publication out to you in a timely manner. I would like to send special thanks to Matt Kroona for stepping up to the plate by submitting an article to me within 2 days notice. He is awesome, and I really appreciate him for doing this. I love his article, it brings us into a x-ray laboratory setting and situation that all of us endure during our working careers. I know that many of you have great stories to tell, and I would love to publish them. This publication is about you and for you. So please be a part of it. I would like to start an interactive format called the Round Table. I will have a question, comment or situation listed in an issue, then the next issue I will publish your comments, questions, reactions or response. Please don't be shy! I look forward to and embrace this new journey that I will be traveling. I hope I can meet your expectations and some how fill the shoes that I am following, including Devery Wallace, Camille Mayorga and Craig Dial and most recently Joanna Peck-Rashid.
