PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE | SPRING 2014By: Tracey Saucier
![]() Happy New Year!!
I know it's April, but I have been meaning to write this since the beginning of the year. I'm sure some of you are thinking, "wait a minute I thought Nancie Grabow was president", and she was but needed to step down for personal reasons. I want to thank her for her hard work and dedication to the AADMRT. I am very excited to be President of the AADMRT as I think this year is going to bring a lot of new and interesting things for our membership. We ended the year with our annual meeting hosted by Robert & Shelly Danforth in Las Vegas. It was held at the Rio Hotel, and if nothing else we all got our share of exercise just getting to and from the meeting rooms. Our 2014 annual meeting is being hosted by Jerry Peck in San Diego on November 6-8. You can got to the web site www.aadmrtconference2014.weebly.com for more information. It promises to be bigger and better than any meeting in the past, and I am very excited with what Jerry has planned. We also have tentative locations for the next two meetings which also can be found on the web site www.aadmrt.com. Charlie Peck has worked very hard over the last few years to get the online school up and running. I am happy to say that as of the beginning of the year we are running and have students enrolled. If you have an employee that is interested in getting their technicians license please contact Charlie Peck for more information. The new year also brings a new AADMRT web site. Lizeth Cebreros has worked hard on updating the web site and I think it looks up to date and is much easier to navigate. Your password should be the same, if you don't know your password contact Lizeth at lvillarreal@cdental.com. The Currents Newsletter is no longer being mailed, so stop by the web site to check it out online. The AADMRT is a great organization, and what makes it great is our membership, the current Board of Directors are motivated keep the AADMRT fresh and forward moving. As mentioned before the annual convention is going to be different than any others, and should not be missed. I urge all current members to spread the word to those that have not signed up or renewed their membership for 2014 to do so right away, so they do not miss any of the benefits our members enjoy. I hope everyone has a happy and prosperous 2014. Tracey Saucier |
