PRESIDENT'S MESSAGES | WINTER 2010

Here we are at the beginning of a brand new year, full of hope and optimism. I have set a number of personal goals including my usual two: eat less and exercise more. I figure if I can achieve even one of those goals I'm batting .500. In major league baseball that would be an impressive number.

The New Year brings some changes to our Board of Directors. I would like to welcome Dr. Dania Tamami and Judy Hurt as our newest board members. I offer my sincere thanks to Tony Giacobazzi and Sara Tarazi for their hard work over the last few years.

This organization is comprised completely of volunteers who are dedicated to the advancement of our field of dental imaging. Board positions are for two years and you can add a second term by changing to a different position, for a total of four years.

I encourage you to consider volunteering for a board position as two more members terms will expire at the end of December 2010 and we will need some replacements. Board members usually meet just twice per year and exchange email on other issues during the year.
